The awkward moment when your shorts matches…

…the colors of your environment

My sister and I spend two days on Fraser Island, the largest sand island of the world and therefore only accessible with a 4 wheel drive. Since we booked the tour via YHA and hadn’t had checked the fine print the first surprise awaiting us was when we realized that we will go by bus and not – as assumed – with a Jeep. While entering the bus my sister doubted that this bus will be capable of driving at the beach (let me assure you he was more than capable of not just driving at the beach but also on all the “roads” – and that was the real challenge). The second surprise came when we arrived at the most beautiful lake I’ve ever seen (and I already saw Lake Atitlan in Guatemala): Lake McKenzie. White silica and crystal clear water. I could have spend the next two days there but we only had one and a half hour which we “wasted” on taking pictures 😉

Naja der Bus ist aber nicht so ein Bus wie man ihn sich vorstellt, der sieht schon so aus, als ob ihm das alles nix ausmacht. Traumhaft schöne Bilder.
